Nieuws - De Loep 2011 uitgereikt

Vanavond heeft de Vereniging van Onderzoeksjournalisten VVOJ De Loep uitgereikt, de jaarlijkse prijs voor de beste Vlaamse en Nederlandse onderzoeksjournalistieke producties van 2011.

Uitreiking De Loep 2011

De Nederlands-Vlaamse Vereniging van Onderzoeksjournalisten (VVOJ) reikt in op 18 november 2011 in het PSV Stadion voor de achtste keer De Loep uit. Deze prijs voor onderzoeksjournalistiek in het Nederlandse taalgebied kent drie categorieën: tekstuele productie, audiovisuele productie en de aanmoedigingsprijs. In de eerste twee categorieën kon de jury drie producties nomineren, voor de aanmoedigingsprijs zijn twee producties genomineerd. Er zijn twee Vlaamse projecten genomineerd. De presentatie is in handen van William Van Laeken.

Uitreiking EU prijzen (Brussel)

Prijzen Karel Van Miert/Prix Etienne Davignon voor journalisten en toekomstige journalisten worden op 11 november in Brussel uitgereikt.

Nieuws - Stijn Tormans wint eerste Grote Prijs Jan Wauters

Stijn Tormans heeft de eerste Grote Prijs Jan Wauters gewonnen. De Knack-journalist zei op de VRT-taaldag, waar de prijs werd uitgereikt, dat hij "erg verwonderd" is. "Jan Wauters is een radiomaker en ik ben een schrijver, maar iedereen hier is wel met Wauters opgegroeid."

Nieuws - Vier EU-winnaars

De vier EU-winnaars van de Prijs voor de Journalistiek van het Europees Parlement van dit jaar werden geselecteerd uit 64 nationale winnaars door een jury in Brussel, bestaande uit leden van het Europees Parlement en journalisten.

On Wednesday 19 October, four European journalists were awarded the European Parliament Prize for Journalism 2011. This prize is for having contributed to developing, “a greater understanding of the EU”.

Nieuws - 2011 Daniel Pearl Awards Winners Announced

KIEV/WASHINGTON - The awards honor the slain Wall St. Journal reporter and celebrate the best in cross-border investigative reporting. This year’s biennial competition attracted 70 entries from 30 countries. An international panel of five judges selected seven finalists, from which they chose one U.S. winner, one international winner, and a Special Citation.

2011 Excellence in Epilepsy Journalism Award

Journalists from around the globe reporting on epilepsy can now compete for the Excellence in Epilepsy Journalism Award. This annual award is designed to rais awareness about epilepsy – the most common, serious neurological condition, affecting nearly 50 million people worldwide.

Nieuws - CEI Award for Outstanding Merits in Investigative Journalism

The Award is open to nationals of all 18 CEI Member States (Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine) who have acquired in the last three years special merits in investigative journalism and who are still active in journalism. The competing journalists should be nominated by individuals/organisations/media companies. Self-nominations are not allowed. All media are accepted: print, broadcast, news agency or Internet.
