Nieuws - 'Wetten zijn geen worstjes' - GroenLinks roept CDA op EuroWob niet te slopen

Het Europees Parlement debatteert vandaag over een voorstel om het proces van Europese wetgeving transparanter te maken. De christendemocratische fractie dreigt het voorstel kapot te amenderen. GroenLinks-Europarlementariër Judith Sargentini roept het CDA op om wetten niet als worstjes te beschouwen: "Burgers, journalisten en maatschappelijke organisaties willen wel degelijk weten hoe Europese regels gemaakt worden. Dat is hun goed recht."

Nieuws - farmsubsidy.org under the wings of journalismfund.eu

From 12 December 2011, day to day responsibility for the core activities of the farmsubsidy.org project will transfer from EU Transparency, based in the UK, to the European Fund for Investigative Journalism, a project of the Pascal Decroos Fund, a foundation based in Belgium. The project will benefit from financial support from the Open Society Foundation worth €78,000 over two years.
