One of the most relevant networking events for investigative and data journalists covering Europe is up to its third edition this year. Journalismfund.eu’s Data Harvest Conference brings together committed journalists from all over Europe to pass on their skills and share their stories and inspiration. #dataharvest13 will take place on 3 and 4 May in Brussels.

World Press Freedom Day Event (Brussels)

During #dataharvest13 Journalismfund.eu and PEN Vlaanderen will organise a press freedom event on World Press Freedom Day Friday 3 May 2013.

News - Fonds Pascal Decroos voor Bijzondere Journalistiek vzw wordt officieel Journalismfund.eu vzw

Sinds januari 2013 ressorteert het Fonds Pascal Decroos onder een structuur waarvan ze zelf aan de basis ligt; de vzw veranderde haar naam in Journalismfund.eu vzw. Het Fonds Pascal Decroos voor Bijzondere Journalistiek blijft wel verder opereren, maar dan zonder de letters ‘vzw’, als project van Journalismfund.eu.

Een project van het Investigative Reporting Project Italy (IRPI) over voedselfraude in Italië, dat gesteund werd door Journalismfund.eu is gepubliceerd in The Guardian.

News - Nieuwe studie over ondersteuning onderzoeksjournalistiek

CIMA, het Center for International Media Assistance, publiceerde op 14 januari een nieuwe studie die kijkt naar ondersteuningsstrategieën voor onderzoeksjournalistiek. Journalismfund.eu en het Fonds Pascal Decroos worden genoemd als goede voorbeelden van 'grant-making organizations'.

News - Out now: FPD nieuwsbrief november 2012

De deelnemers aan de VVOJ-conferentie van 16 en 17 november 2012 in Antwerpen konden niet enkel genieten van de vele sessies en van de aanwezigheid van journalistiek monument Seymour Hersh. Ze werden bovendien verblijd met de gloednieuwe gedrukte nieuwsbrief van het Fonds Pascal Decroos: nummer 25 al, boordevol interessante interviews en artikels.

Tijdens de European Investigative Journalism Conference van de VVOJ zal het Fonds Pascal Decroos, samen met de VVOJ zelf, instaan voor een zijluik van het programma dat zich toespitst op fondsen en stichtingen.

At VVOJ's European Investigative Journalism Conference the Pascal Decroos Fund will, in cooperation with VVOJ itself, be in charge of a side track of the programme that is specifically aimed at foundations and funds.
