The 3rd World Journalism Education Congress (Belgium)
MECHELEN - Conference Theme: Renewing Journalism Through Education
The central theme of the congress will be: How can Journalism Education help steer the future of journalism?
What is in store for journalism and how can education ensure that the journalist of the future is prepared for the challenges that inevitable changes will bring?
During the congress there will be ample time for each region, country and training institute to contribute from their own perspective and take part in the discussion over how the profession and how education and working conditions within the profession will function in the future.
The path already set by the 2nd World Journalism Education Congress (WJEC-2) will be a firm basis for these discussions.
The 3rd World Journalism Congress (WJEC-3) will provide an excellent opportunity to explore current status and will lead the way to efficient development of educational support and training within the profession.
