News - Marilo Fund grant for project on Japanese society
BRUSSELS - The Marilo Fund awards a grant of €5,000 to a journalist working in Belgium for story that increases understanding of Japanese society and entrepreneurship in Belgium.
The award is a € 5,000 grant to a journalist working in Belgium with a passion for Japan.
Through this award, the Fund wants to contribute to financing an article, a series of articles, a radio or TV report, whose objective is to help improve understanding Japanese society and entrepreneurship in Belgium.
Please note that candidates could be invited to present their project to the Steering committee of the Fund on 30 April 2015 between 10.00 am and noon. So please save this date in your agenda. In case you cannot be present at this date/time, your application will not be taken into consideration.
- Journalists working in Belgium.
- Ideally, journalists working within a broad economic framework;
- with active and in-depth knowledge of English or Japanese;
- who are willing to undertake a short stay in Japan within the framework of the award.

The Marilo Fund was founded by Mr and Mrs Blondé-Eelen. By partnering with the King Baudouin Foundation and the Belgium-Japan Association & Chamber of Commerce the Marilo fund has been supporting individuals and projects that contribute positively to the mission of the fund by means of a yearly award.
