News - Marilo Fund - for a journalist in Belgium interested in Japan
BRUSSELS - The Marilo Fund is awarding a € 5,000 grant to a journalist working in Belgium interested in Japanese society. Through the award, the Fund wants to contribute to financing an article, a series of articles, a radio or TV report, whose objective is to help improve understanding in Belgium of Japanese society and entrepreneurship.
- Journalists working in Belgium.
- Ideally, journalists working within a broad economic framework;
- with active and in-depth knowledge of English or Japanese;
- who are willing to undertake a short stay in Japan within the framework of the award.
Deadline and registration

The aim of the Marilo Fund is to favour commercial relations between Belgium and Japan, in close collaboration with the Belgium-Japan Association & Chamber of Commerce, by encouraging active professional and entrepreneurial communication regarding Japan. The prizewinner undertakes to disseminate the results of his or her research within the framework of the Marilo Fund among Belgian entrepreneurs and to do this in collaboration with the Belgium-Japan Association & Chamber of Commerce. More specifically, this could be done through a seminar or study day (in English).
