Martijn Bal wordt directeur van MIX, het Vlaams Media Innovatie Centrum
MIX Launch event 14 maart 2012
In December 2011 the Flemish government decided to create the Media Innovation Center as part of IBBT. This new initiative will help the Flemish media sector to to stimulate innovation and to meet the challenges it’s currently facing.
After an intense period of preparation, the new center was be officially launched on March 14, 2012. Since the original acronym MIC was already used as an acronym for Microsoft Innovation Center, "MIX" was introduced as the new name.
MIX will support ICT innovation projects executed in close collaboration with media and technology companies.
