LONDON - For the sixth year running, Private Eye and The Guardian is awarding a prize for investigative/campaigning journalism in memory of Paul Foot.
The overall winner will be awarded £5,000, with the 5 runners-up each receiving £1,000 at a ceremony to be held in London on 2nd November 2010.
Submissions will be accepted for material published in a newspaper, magazine or on a website between 1st September 2009 and 31st August 2010.
Entry forms can be downloaded from the link below and the closing date for entries is 1 September 2010.
Last year’s £5,000 first prize was won by Ian Cobain of the Guardian for his investigation into Britain’s involvement in the torture of terror suspects overseas.
