Nieuws - CIJ Film Week (London)

The Centre for Investigative Journalism is proud to host London’s third investigative film week. This will be starting next Wednesday. The film week will be held in the Oliver Thompson Lecture Theatre, City University London from 25-29 January.CIJ will be showcasing some of the best investigative journalism films from the UK and around the world with a chance to talk to the filmmakers with post-film Q&As and a networking drinks reception on Saturday.

Na een overweldigend succes van de Avond van de Buitenlandjournalistiek vorige week in Pakhuis de Zwijger kunnen we er niet meer om heen: het belang van de buitenlandjournalist! Om ook komend jaar journalistieke producties over ontwikkelingsvraagstukken in niet-westerse landen te belonen staat alweer de 28ste editie van de Dick Scherpenzeel Prijs op de agenda. En de inzendingen zijn vanaf vandaag geopend.

WORLD - Journalists from every region of the world have joined together to support the whistle-blowing organization Wikileaks and its founder Julian Assange who, they say, have provided an extraordinary resource for journalists around the world and made "an outstanding contribution to transparency and accountability on the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars".
