TUNIS - When Tunisians kick off the Arab Spring in 2010, the difficult transition to democracy begins. Nearly a decade later, independent candidate Kais Saied comes to power. Stealthily, he implements his political agenda: he dissolves parliament, arrests the opposition, and the media and the electoral commission are also targeted. Many Tunisians speak of a true coup d'état.

In response, young people gather en masse and organize numerous protests across the country. They see the fledgling democracy failing and therefore call themselves the wrong generation. During a turbulent period, nomads Eugenie D'Hooghe and Robbe Vandegehuchte travel to Tunisia and look for the ringleaders. Who is this young generation, can they turn the tide or is Tunisia slipping back into autocracy?
