Hilde Baele (1967) works as a media training coordinator and teacher for Deutsche Welle Akademie within a project with young people.

She followed a pedagogical training in Ghent and decided at the age of 21 to go work as a teacher in Rwanda. After the genocide she moved to Niger, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, back to Rwanda and to Benin. She wrote and illustrated numerous books. In 2012, the NGO she started was rewarded with the "Prix des Droits de l'Homme au Bénin" for the materials developed with and for children in the country.

In April 2015, it will be exactly 50 years ago that Ché Guevara celebrated his happy arrival in Congo. In December it will be exactly 50 years ago that he sadly retreated. Jérôme Sebasoni crossed Ché Guevara on his guerrilla and followed him all the way to Cuba.
