Sofyan El Bouchtili (1994) is een Belgisch freelance journalist en werkt vanuit Amsterdam.

Sofyan studeerde Journalistiek aan de Arteveldehogeschool en EU-journalistiek aan de scholen voor journalistiek in Utrecht (NL) en Aarhus (DK). Hij maakte zijn debuut bij het Nederlands blad Vrij Nederland en werd genomineerd voor de Tegel Jaarprijs in de categorie Pionier. Sofyan was voorzitter van de eerste editie van de journalistieke denktank van het Stimuleringsfonds voor de Journalistiek.
