With an explicit interest in people , contexts and people within that context, Jeroen Franssens has traveled the world. He made reports for Belgian television (VRT), radio (radio 1) and print (Knack, Groene Amsterdammer, Menzo...).
His publications after participative observation in a Los Angeles ghetto was picked up by a wide range of media-institutions. For a documentary in Russia he was nominated for the Prix Italia and Prix Europa.
He made further radio-documentaries about illegal prostitution networks and a wide range of social relevant stories for several radio-stations.
