Katrien Pierlet is a Belgian creator, performer, coach and teacher with a strong focus on youth theatre and socio-artistic projects.
In 2004, she obtained her Master’s degree in Dramatic Arts at KASK in Ghent. Shortly afterwards, she helped found Studio Orka, where she was part of the artistic core. Together, they developed a unique theatrical language in which performance and design merge and where the audience and imagination take centre stage.
Katrien has consistently worked as a freelancer with a wide range of companies and projects, such as Laika, Froefroe, Bronks, Ultima Thule, Nevski Prospekt and Cie Frieda, and she has also staged her own creations under her own non-profit organisation, Bigger Ting.
