Lise Witteman is a Dutch journalist who lives in Brussels. As deputy editor-in-chief, she now manages Follow the Money's international website, FTM.eu.

Without transparency, democracy cannot exist. Based on this conviction, Lise Witteman left The Hague for Brussels in 2018 to shine a spotlight on this chronically underexposed powerhouse.

She founded the Brussels editorial office of FTM and wrote the book “Who's watching Brussels”. She was also co-founder of The Schuman Show, a stage show that unravels EU affairs in a comical way.
