Lutula Kaminkya is a Congolese researcher and local expert. 

Hailing from Shabunda, DR Congo, Lutula has years of fieldwork experience in South Kivu. His interests and expertise span local expressions of resistance, religion, and mining. He is currently finishing his academic studies in psychology at the Free University of the Great Lakes Region (ULPGL) in Bukavu. In Bukavu, he is always on standby as pastor within his parish and is active as youth secretary of the Evangelical Church 19th CEEBCO (the Evangelical Community of Berean Churches in DRCongo). Within the church community, he is an elementary school counselor.
