Sofie Peeters is a documentary maker and journalist. 

She caused a stir with her thesis work Femme de la rue. This documentary about street harassment led to the creation of the anti-sexism law in Belgium. Gender-related themes are the common thread running through Sofie's work. At the end of 2017, she received a prize from the Institute for the equality of women and men.
