Tom Van Assche is a Belgian video journalist.

In 2014 he won the "actua-talent" prize, an award for students of video journalism, with his thesis on online gambling games. Since then, he has been working as a freelance videographer for the editorial boards of Mediahuis and various television channels. His work has taken him to all corners of the world, from the mountains of Nepal to the favelas of Brazil.
