Luk De Wilde (°1957) is an independent journalist specialized in aviation.

Luk De Wilde has been following commercial aviation closely for almost twenty years now. As a journalist he worked successively for Het Laatste Nieuws and Gazet van Antwerpen. For this last newspaper he was responsible for the daily reporting on the bankruptcy of Sabena in 2001. Since 2005 he has been working as an independent journalist for the Belgian public broadcaster VRT. He is also freelance editor-in-chief of the daily Aviation Newsletter, an online publication of the trade journal Travel Magazine. In 2006 and 2007 he conducted interviews with almost all CEOs of the European low-cost airlines.
