BELGIUM - Some 60 years ago, the language border in Belgium was established by law. Although this border has crossed our territories for centuries, it became the object of conflict especially in the 20th century.

Meanwhile, things seem quiet around the border. But what is moving today around the line that splits Belgium? What are the consequences for local residents and how are they dealing with the border today? With these questions, Koen Demarsin travels from Bever (Pajottenland) to Bever (Strombeek-Bever) across the borders of Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels and talks to people who live and work there. Meanwhile, is the language border a fixed cultural border and how much is the geographical border also a mental border? That should be revealed at the end of the trip.
