Nominatie IDFA film festival

AMSTERDAM - LON, een documentaire van Nina Landau gerealiseerd met onze steun is geselecteerd voor het IDFA film festival in Amsterdam. Het zal daar meedingen naar de prijs in de wedstrijdcategorie 'Best Short Documentary'.

Lon Landau is een beloftevolle joodse decorontwerper, wiens leven een dramatische wending neemt tijdens WOII. Hij wordt gevangengehouden in de Dossin kazerne in Mechelen, maar hij besluit optimistisch te blijven en te doen wat hij best kan: droomwerelden bouwen. LON is een ode aan de kracht van verbeelding en toont hoe mensen ook in moeilijke tijden hun waardigheid bewaren.

Met deze animatiedocumentaire komt een verhaal van meer dan 75 jaar terug tot leven.

LON zal worden uitgezonden op 19 november 2017 om 22h op Canvas.
