In a foreign city and in a foreign language she has to arrange all sorts of things. This marks the start of her search for her grandfather's past. He fled Hungary in 1956, built a life in Belgium, founded mini football, divorced his wife, and returned to Hungary in 1996. It is also the story of her tyrannical grandfather. Gradually, the granddaughter discovers that, in 1956, in Budapest, he did not fulfil the heroic role he was so proud of. His final years were marked by suspicion, delusions and obsessions, making the revelation of his past all the more urgent. Driven by a relentless passion for the truth, however painful it may be, she digs deeper and deeper, encountering increasingly painful events.
