This little book (about 80 pages in A4 format) fills a big hole in the literature on investigative reporting: It's a guide to the basics of finding, structuring and composing an investigation. Link.

DEN HAAG - Thomas Bruning, de algemeen secretaris van de Nederlandse Vereniging van Journalisten (NVJ), deed via het blad van het Mediafonds 609 een oproep aan politiekers om bij het uitzetten van een nieuw mediabeleid rekening te houden met de veranderde realiteit. Fondsvorming voor onderzoeksjournalistieke projecten maakt hij daarbij tot speerpunt. Een overpeinzing die ook voor Vlaanderen kan gelden.

DEINZE - Op vrijdag 15 oktober 2010 werd in Deinze de 11de Prijs Filip Decock uitgereikt. De wedstrijdjury kende de Prijs Filip Decock 2010 toe aan Ine ROOX (°Bilzen 1977) voor haar reeks “Afrika van de Hoop”, verschenen in De Standaard vanaf 6 maart 2010.

BRUSSELS - Reaching the heart of the story in the European Union is never easy. Cutting through the red tape surrounding Brussels can be even more difficult – especially from afar. That's where the European Neighbourhood Journalism Network comes in. Their foremost aim is to train the journalists of southern Mediterranean, Eastern European and southern Caucasus countries. They will facilitate networking between journalists from these regions with the goal of building bridges within our neighbourhood.
