2008 Pulitzer Prize winners

(WASH' ON, 07/04/2008) -- The 2008 Pulitzer Prizewinners and Nominated Finalists are announced. All Prizewinning photographs and cartoons, along with bios and photos of all winners, are available on the Pulitzer Prize website. For Investigative Reporting: Walt Bogdanich and Jake Hooker of The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune staff. The Times won for stories on toxic ingredients in medicine and other products imported from China; the Tribune for exposing faulty regulation of toys, car seats and cribs. Finalist: Miles Moffeit and Susan Greene of The Denver Post for reports on the destruction of evidence in criminal cases. >>
